About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Labourer to join our team at Garden City Kosher Bakery Ltd. As a Bakery Labourer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Handling: Transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials with care and attention to detail.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Machine Operation: Feed and unload processing machines, and assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties.
  • Quality Control: Check products and packaging for basic quality defects, and ensure that all products meet our high standards.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean machines and immediate work areas, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
  • Work Environment: This is a fast-paced environment, and overtime may be required.
