Job Title: Master Scheduler

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Scheduler to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the master production schedule to meet production goals and customer demands.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the master production schedule to meet production goals and customer demands.
  • Implement and manage lean scheduling techniques to optimize production flow and reduce waste.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels to prevent overstocking and stockouts.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including production efficiency, inventory accuracy, and schedule adherence.
  • Identify and address potential scheduling conflicts and production bottlenecks.
Requirements:
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification or related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in production scheduling, preferably in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and lean scheduling principles.
  • Must excel in using scheduling software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.
