Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement stunning visual effects, animations, and particle systems tailored for mobile gaming experiences.
  • Create high-quality Shaders that bring artistic visions to fruition while respecting technical limitations.
  • Develop and refine optimized workflows that adhere to industry standards and best practices.
  • Produce detailed documentation for processes, tools, and pipelines to facilitate team understanding and efficiency.
  • Prototype new features and deliver comprehensive performance assessments.
  • Conduct thorough research and testing to evaluate feature performance metrics.
  • Integrate various assets into Unity, including models, animations, and textures.

Throughout the production cycle, you will work closely with your colleagues to ensure compliance with established protocols, maintain updated documentation, troubleshoot performance challenges, and provide necessary training and support.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Modeler or Technical Artist within the gaming sector.
  • Familiarity with mobile game development and its inherent challenges.
  • Proficient in 3D Max, Substance Painter, and Photoshop.
  • Strong grasp of Unity and its functionalities.
  • Knowledge of After Effects, Visual Effect Graph, ShaderLab, or Amplify is advantageous.
  • A portfolio demonstrating expertise in VFX and particle systems.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as HLSL, GLSL, C#, JavaScript, Maxscript, or Python is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail.
  • A creative, resourceful, organized, and disciplined approach to work.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced work environment.
