About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at North Delta Animal Hospital. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Interview patients to obtain comprehensive case histories, ensuring accurate and detailed information is recorded.
  • Administrative Support: Open and distribute incoming mail, packages, and other materials in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless communication with patients and staff.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in procedures and software usage, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Documentation: Complete insurance and claim forms, maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, and initiate confidential medical files and records.
  • Data Entry: Enter and format medical reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
