We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at STEVEN NI CHARTERED PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTANT LTD.
Job Summary:The Accounting Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
- Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting records.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Prepare and process payroll, including calculating wages, benefits, and taxes.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards, and identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Skills: Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel.
- Language: Fluent in English.
