This role involves ensuring the delivery of services by a segment of the Fluor team, suppliers, or contractors, adhering to high safety and quality standards while meeting or exceeding cost, schedule, and project milestones. You may participate in large-scale PCM projects, contributing to our dynamic and forward-thinking office environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject Engineers will engage in multidisciplinary teams to plan and execute tasks that require sound technical judgment in managing project assignments. The primary objective is to oversee and coordinate project activities in compliance with contractual obligations, ensuring safety, quality, value, timeliness, and profitability.
In this role, you will perform essential duties aimed at broadening your project management expertise. Fluor provides access to University Courses for ongoing learning and encourages participation in knowledge management communities to enhance project execution.
Specific Duties Include:- Executing fundamental project engineering tasks, including progress monitoring, procedure preparation, documentation of communications and meetings, and identifying project issues;
- Coordinating the efforts of technical disciplines, vendors, and licensors to ensure cohesive and comprehensive designs that fulfill project requirements;
- Supporting the implementation of environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) initiatives;
- Reviewing project staffing needs and coordinating with functional organization managers and subcontractors;
- Assisting in the creation and coordination of project plans and schedules, monitoring activities, progress, and milestones;
- Contributing to the development of project effort hours, cost estimates, and budgets, while tracking progress and cost performance;
- Assisting in the preparation and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages;
- Performing other assigned duties as necessary.
