Job Summary:
Golderado Contracting Corp is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator with GPS and finishing expertise to join our team. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, conducting pre-operational checks, and performing minor repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment, including excavators, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Perform minor repairs to equipment and troubleshoot issues.
- Execute high-volume production and fine grading and finishing tasks.
- Assist other operators, labourers, and trades as needed.
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on equipment.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as an excavator operator or equivalent.
- CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance Level 2 certifications.
- Ability to quickly identify problem situations and produce workable solutions.
- Proficient English language skills.
- Reliable means of transportation.
