Job Title: Application Release Engineer

At Highbrow LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Application Release Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for creating non-functional test plans for applications, executing test plan scenarios, and conducting non-functional testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create non-functional test plans for applications, M/W and D/B technologies on a project-by-project basis
  • Execute test plan scenarios using scripts if available
  • Conduct non-functional testing including operability, failover and negative
  • Create reports of test procedures, defects observed, & test result metrics

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in the IT Technology field
  • Knowledge of ITS internal Business practices and related tools/processes would be an asset
  • Strong change management skills
  • Excellent UNIX (AIX preferred) experience
  • Excellent Windows Server experience
  • Experience with WebSphere, Apache, and Tomcat
  • Experience with Cloud promotions
  • Knowledge of Azure and JBoss
  • Knowledge of Confluence and Jira

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Exposure to SOA based apps
  • IIS experience
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps tools (i.e. Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, etc.) and methodologies

Education:

College / University or equivalent work experience
