Clinical Externship Initiative

The Clinical Externship Initiative at HHS invites learners from diverse healthcare backgrounds to collaborate with clinical teams. Currently, HHS is seeking Clinical Externs to assist various patient demographics across multiple hospital locations.

Role Overview

The Clinical Extern – Physiotherapy Learner position is essential in delivering care to patients and their families in conjunction with the healthcare team. Key responsibilities include aiding with personal care, enhancing patient safety, and facilitating various medical procedures. This role is available to Physiotherapy Students enrolled in an accredited program who have successfully completed a clinical placement.

This position is part-time and temporary, necessitating flexibility in work hours, including weekends.

  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Prior clinical placement experience is preferred
