As a Travel Guide, you will be responsible for leading groups of tourists on sightseeing tours, providing information on local customs, history, and culture, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Sightseeing Tours: Drive sightseeing or tour vehicle, confirm transportation and accommodation reservations, and resolve itinerary and other problems.
  • Provide Information and Assistance: Assist clients with check-in procedures for accommodation and/or transportation, provide information on tipping customs, currency exchange rates, metric conversion, and other details, and assist clients/guests with special needs.
  • Conduct Guided Tours: Conduct guided tours of museums, gallery exhibitions, and historical, heritage, and other sites, answer inquiries, and provide information.
  • Transport and Escort: Transport or escort individuals or groups on tours of cities, waterways, and industrial and other establishments.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Client focus, dependability, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
