Woodworking Instructor

Lakeside Kelowna School is seeking a part-time Woodworking instructor to join our team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in woodworking.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging woodworking lessons for grades 1-6
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in woodworking education
- Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for)
- Familiarity with the new BC Curriculum and Competencies
- Minimum one-year woodworking teaching experience
- Demonstrated ability to devise a variety of assessment processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A creative and mutually supportive work environment
