Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at 9469-8206 Quéebec inc. as a key member of our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food to customers in a fast-paced environment.
    • Operate dishwashers, wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
    • Load and unload buspans and trays.
    • Package take-out food and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
    • Sharpen kitchen knives.
  • Equipment Operation
    • Operate conventional ovens, deep fryers, and grills.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work effectively in a team environment.
    • Communicate with colleagues and management to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
