About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Transportation Specialist to join our team at OPENLANE. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for driving vehicles to and from designated areas, as well as picking up and delivering vehicles while observing driving rules and demonstrating courteous and defensive driving principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive vehicles to and from designated areas, ensuring timely and safe transportation of vehicles.
  • Represent OPENLANE in a professional and efficient manner, providing excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure road-worthiness, including tire pressure, fuel levels, lights, signals, and brakes.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve operational efficiency and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Report any incidents or maintenance needs to supervisors immediately.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license in Manitoba.
  • Ability to drive both standard and automatic vehicles.
  • Clear driver abstract required.
  • Availability to work on designated sale days (Thursdays).
  • Computer and smartphone skills required.
  • Ability to drive in different weather conditions.
  • Reliable team player with excellent communication skills.
