Role Overview

As a Lead Frontend Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing essential features of CapIntel's offerings. Collaborating with a dynamic team of developers, designers, and product managers, you will enhance the scalability, efficiency, and reliability of our platform. Your role will involve ensuring seamless integration of our user interface with backend services, consistently meeting and surpassing user expectations. Your expertise in UI best practices, design frameworks, and scalable solutions will be vital in advancing our platform's success and user engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Development:

  • Work alongside UX/UI designers to convert designs and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Performance Optimization:

  • Enhance applications for optimal speed and scalability, utilizing techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and effective state management.
  • Implement thorough frontend testing strategies using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium to guarantee application reliability and usability.

Collaboration:

  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business objectives and support QA processes, participating in effective testing and validation of developed solutions.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs, ensuring seamless, end-to-end functionality of the application.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance processes, technologies, and methodologies, staying informed about modern technologies and best practices to improve the development lifecycle.

Mentorship:

  • Provide guidance to Junior and Intermediate Engineers, assisting them in their technical growth and helping them navigate challenges.
  • Exemplify technical excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth within the team.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated on the latest frontend technologies and frameworks, advocating for their adoption when they can enhance product performance or development workflows.
  • Commit to maintaining high-quality standards through regular code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices in software development.
Qualifications
  • Several years of professional experience as a frontend or full-stack developer.
  • Proficiency with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express, ReactJS).
  • Experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in writing comprehensive automated tests to ensure application reliability and integrity.
  • Knowledge of T3 Tech Stack, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Ability to diagnose and prevent performance and optimization issues.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and propose thorough iterative solutions.
