Position Summary:

The University of Niagara Falls Canada is seeking motivated and dedicated students to join our team in various departments across campus. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and contribute to the success of our university community. These part-time roles offer flexible hours to accommodate your academic schedule, with positions available in the Library, Student Success Office, Marketing, and Office of the Registrar.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day operations within the assigned department.
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
  • Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping.
  • Assist with event planning and coordination, including setup and takedown.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives, such as content creation and social media management.
  • Assist in research and gathering information for departmental projects.
  • Provide support for student success initiatives, including workshops and orientation programs.
  • Ensure a welcoming and organized environment in all student-facing areas.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must be a current student in good standing at the University of Niagara Falls Canada.
  • Completion of at least one full-time term (April or July term starts are valid).
  • Eligible to work in Canada (Canadian citizen or valid work permit).
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education and Competencies:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at the University of Niagara Falls Canada.
  • Completion of at least one full-time term (April or July term starts are considered valid).
  • Academic standing must be in good standing with no active academic probation or disciplinary actions.
  • Strong Communication to convey information clearly and effectively to a variety of audiences.
  • Capable of balancing academic responsibilities with part-time work commitments.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
  • Flexibility in handling a variety of tasks and willingness to learn new skills.
