Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Heavy-Duty Automotive Technician to join our team at DUTCHMASTER NURSERIES LTD. This role involves a variety of responsibilities related to the maintenance and repair of commercial transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hours: 35 to 60 hours per week

  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Work Environment

The work site may be dusty, requiring attention to detail and adaptability.

Primary Duties
  • Adjust, repair, or replace components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
  • Perform repairs on automotive systems, ensuring optimal functionality.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance services and document all work performed.
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications

  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
