About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tailor to join our team at Arora Cloth House. As a Tailor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fit, alter, and repair garments as required
  • Lay out, cut, sew, and press materials to make hats
  • Make, alter, or re-style fur garments and accessories
  • Operate sewing machines or sew by hand
  • Select and modify commercial patterns to customers' and clothing manufacturers' specifications and fit
  • Design patterns to fit measurements
  • Mark, cut, and sew fabric
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Participation in a government or community program or initiative that supports persons with disabilities
  • Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for persons with disabilities
  • Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities
  • Applies accessible and inclusive recruitment policies that accommodate persons with disabilities
