Job Summary:

NorLand Limited, a leading provider of specialized services, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our heavy civil infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing complex projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role:

  • Lead a project team to safely deliver projects valued up to $100M, meeting client expectations and company objectives.
  • Manage all aspects of project performance, including startup, safety, cost, schedule, quality, environmental, client interface, operations, scope changes, billing, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction.
  • Work on project pursuits and lead proposal efforts, when required, to secure new business opportunities.
  • Mentor junior team members to develop their skills and contribute to the growth of our team.
  • Manage claims and change orders, ensuring timely and cost-effective resolution.

Requirements:

  • P.Eng, technical diploma, or extensive industry experience is a requirement.
  • 8+ years' minimum experience managing all aspects of heavy civil construction from project start to project closeout in Canada.
  • Onsite project management experience on large-scale heavy civil infrastructure and transportation projects involving highways, underground utilities, earthworks, and structures.
  • Ability to effectively manage new client development, client issues, complaints, and inquiries while providing excellent service to clients.
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Projects skills, with Hard Dollar experience an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, outstanding time management, prioritization, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, where collaboration is key to success.
  • Strong work ethic, with the ability to work in a confidential, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Valid Driver's License.

What We Offer:

NorLand Limited offers a competitive salary starting from $110,000 per annum, based on the successful candidate's competencies. As a part of our total compensation package, this position is eligible for other benefits subject to program eligibility.
