Reporting to the Program Lead, this role aligns with the mission and values of our organization. You will practice in accordance with the professional standards and ethical guidelines set forth by the College of Dental Hygienists of British Columbia, delivering dental health prevention and promotion services to diverse communities in Northern Health.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, Daytime hours, 08:00 to 16:00
Compensation:
The current wage is: $47.31/hour

Examples may include:

- Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
- Current registration and licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in British Columbia.
- At least one year of recent experience in dental hygiene, preferably in a community health setting.
- Valid BC driver's license and access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel.
- Assessment and Treatment: Proven ability to conduct thorough client assessments and implement appropriate interventions.
- Teaching: Capacity to educate clients and groups effectively.
- Knowledge Integration: Ability to apply current research and best practices in professional decision-making.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Teamwork: Commitment to fostering a collaborative environment focused on high-quality client care.
