Job Summary

The Maintenance Student Technologist will provide day-to-day maintenance support to our upstream operations in Newfoundland. This role will involve working alongside experienced technical professionals to support the safe and reliable operation of our offshore facilities. The selected individual will be assigned a dedicated mentor and will receive work items that are integral to our operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance support to platform operations, including queries and spare parts management.
  • Optimize maintenance programs to ensure the right work is done at the right frequency.
  • Identify equipment reliability improvement opportunities through analysis of data and equipment performance.
  • Participate in turnaround planning and work scope development.
  • Resolve technical queries associated with SAP data history.
  • Liaise closely with the Engineering Group on maintenance and repair activities.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a College Technology program and returning to full-time studies after the work term.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Commitment to safety on and off the job.
  • Excellent computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and in a team-based environment.
  • Previous petroleum industry experience is considered beneficial, but not essential.
