Key Responsibilities- Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and maintain accurate records of staff performance and customer feedback.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding, with a combination of bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, efficient interpersonal skills, and a client-focused approach.
This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The work language is English, and the work site environment is noisy, with odours, wet/damp conditions, and hot temperatures.
