We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Davidson Contract Services. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet of commercial transport trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
  • Diagnostic and Repair: Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions, and repair or replace parts and components as needed.
  • Quality Control: Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications, and ensure that all work meets our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including communicating with drivers and other stakeholders to ensure that vehicles are returned to service in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve our maintenance goals, and contribute to a positive and safe work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification.
  • Language: English.
Work Environment

Our maintenance team works in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and quality. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and use tools to perform your duties.
