Culinary Operations Supervisor

The Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily activities within a fast-paced food service environment. This role requires a strong focus on quality control and staff management to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Work is conducted primarily in a fast food outlet or concession setting, requiring the ability to thrive in a dynamic atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff
- Provide training on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Estimate necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service
- Prepare financial budgets and cost estimates
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
- Compile and submit operational reports
- Prepare food order summaries for the kitchen
- Oversee the assembly of food trays
- Manage the delivery of food trolleys
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff
Responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 employees.
Health and Safety ComplianceMust undergo a criminal record check as part of the hiring process.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Extended periods of standing, bending, crouching, and kneeling
- Strong client focus and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal communication abilities

Engagement in programs that support newcomers, Indigenous peoples, and visible minorities is encouraged.
