Locum Physician Opportunity

Mayflower Medical Clinic is a busy and well-established healthcare facility seeking a family medicine physician for locum coverage. The clinic provides a supportive work environment and is located in a convenient location in Halifax.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for examining patients, taking their histories, ordering diagnostic tests, and advising patients on healthcare and disease prevention. Additionally, they will consult with other medical practitioners, act as patient advocates, and prescribe medications and treatments.
Expected HoursThe expected hours of work will be determined in collaboration with the clinic.
QualificationsThe ideal candidate will be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia and certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada. They will also be required to have membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
