About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join our team at APTECH PRECISION MACHINING INC. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and precision of our manufactured products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution
    • Read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to understand production requirements.
    • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet specifications.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers).
    • Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances.
    • Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Repair machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance.
    • Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Collaborate with production team members to ensure smooth production processes.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Other trades certificate or diploma.
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications and Skills
    • Relevant certifications and training in CNC machining and manufacturing.
    • Strong understanding of computer-controlled machine tools and precision measuring instruments.
