Key Responsibilities...

  1. Organizes the department effectively.
  2. Rotates inventory and inspects for outdated items.
  3. Ensures products are accurately signed and priced.
  4. Complies with standards and policies for cold chain management, thermometer calibrations, temperature documentation, food safety, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
  5. Processes orders for Deli Department products; slices and prepares items such as meats, cheeses, and fried chicken; and provides assistance as needed.
  6. Adheres to established procedures for ordering, clearance, pricing adjustments, and labeling.
  7. Prepares deli food orders, including meats and cheeses, utilizing slicers and other equipment; cooks chicken using rotisserie ovens and deep fryers; and assembles salads and side dishes for display and special customer requests.
  8. Follows Health and Safety regulations diligently.

The starting pay rate for this role begins at $17.85, with compensation determined by relevant experience.
