About the Role

Nutrizia Inc. is seeking a skilled Chemical Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for operating laboratory apparatus, assisting in the setup and conduct of chemical experiments, and compiling records for analytical studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Laboratory Equipment: Ensure the safe and efficient operation of laboratory equipment, including apparatus and instruments.
  • Assist in Experimentation: Collaborate with our research team to set up and conduct chemical experiments, following established protocols and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Compile accurate and detailed records of analytical studies, including experimental results and observations.
  • Quality Control: Assist in the development and implementation of quality control measures to maintain high standards in our laboratory.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Familiarity with laboratory information management systems (LIMS) is an asset.
  • Training and Development: Participate in safety training programs and contribute to the development of standards, health, and safety measures.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a laboratory setting.
