About the Role

Prairie General Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team. As a Construction Labourer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the site.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades as required.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Asphalt Paving: Pave and rake asphalt to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Site Cleaning: Clean and pile salvaged materials, and remove rubble and other debris from the site.
  • Environmental Safety: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
