Job Title: Engineering Student

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Students to join our team at PCL Constructors Canada Inc. in Toronto, Ontario.

Job Summary:

As an Engineering Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by coordinating drawings, conducting trade quote reviews, participating in project meetings, and performing quantity takeoffs. You will also be responsible for supervising sub-trade work, setting up and maintaining record keeping, and monitoring workforce productivity.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate drawings and conduct trade quote reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss project progress and address any concerns.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs to ensure accurate material quantities and labor hours.
  • Supervise sub-trade work to ensure compliance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Set up and maintain record keeping to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Monitor workforce productivity to ensure efficient use of resources.
Qualifications:
  • Strong desire to work in a construction environment.
  • Prior field construction experience is considered an asset.
  • Application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting.
