Key Responsibilities

  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality, and implement changes as necessary.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Train or arrange for training of production staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Oversee the safety of operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, training, and disciplinary measures.
  • Set up and maintain equipment and machinery to ensure optimal production levels.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of production staff to ensure efficient production.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or business.
  • 5 years or more of experience in a production or manufacturing role.
  • Fluency in English or French, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and management.
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced production environment.
