About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Stone Mason to join our team at SDH Stucco. As a key member of our masonry crew, you will be responsible for preparing and laying bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Planning: Estimate materials, tools, and equipment required for projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Masonry Work: Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry units, adhering to high standards of quality and safety.
  • Project Management: Construct and install prefabricated masonry units, and prepare tenders and quotations for clients.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other workers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Health and Safety: Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
  • Quality Control: Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools, ensuring precise and accurate results.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
