About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food preparation and service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest quality standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that staff are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment for staff and customers.
  • Manage Budget and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and work with the team to resolve issues and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods and working under pressure.
