Job Title: Loss Prevention Associate Bramalea City Centre

At Uniqlo Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Loss Prevention Associate to join our team at Bramalea City Centre. As a Loss Prevention Associate, you will play a critical role in protecting our company's assets and ensuring the safety of our customers and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement and execute all Loss Prevention initiatives and policies within your assigned location in partnership with Store Management and the Area Loss Prevention Manager.
  2. Assist Store Manager and Area Loss Prevention Manager with training of store personnel on Loss Prevention policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  3. Detect and identify shoplifters and safely apprehend subjects or recover merchandise in accordance with Federal and Provincial laws, as well as company and department policy.
  4. Implement loss reduction initiatives in partnership with store teams and Loss Prevention senior management.
  5. Utilize Loss Prevention technology equipment including CCTV, Access Control, EAS, and exception-based reporting systems to identify and act on loss and safety issues within assigned location.
  6. Provide direct support to assigned locations for taking of financial inventory and RFID based cycle counts as directed.
Requirements:
  1. Related experience in Loss Prevention or Asset Protection in a multi-unit capacity.
  2. Full understanding of Canadian federal, provincial and local laws and regulations regarding apprehensions, safety, and all aspects of Loss Prevention.
  3. Demonstrated experience in Internal Investigation including use of exception reporting systems as well as managing external apprehension programs.
  4. Proven ability to interface with law enforcement and legal professionals on both criminal and civil matters.
  5. Experience with Loss Prevention technology and methods, including CCTV, covert surveillance, EAS, Access Control, and Intrusion Detection systems.
