We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Alpha 1 Concrete Forming. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for building and maintaining concrete forms, ensuring that they are safe and meet the required standards.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to build and maintain concrete forms.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure the structural integrity of the forms.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including construction sites, mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but relevant training or certification is an asset.
- Ability to work in a noisy and dusty environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic are essential.
