About the Role

We're seeking a seasoned Director to lead our Software Development organization for our Golf product. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for supporting engineering teams in building a cloud-based golf management platform trusted by thousands of golf clubs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Software Development Managers to help their teams deliver on their goals, continuously improve processes, tooling, and performance.
  • Work closely with Product and Design to efficiently execute on the roadmap while balancing product goals with engineering excellence.
  • Ensure the growth of a diverse, happy, and high-performing organization of Software Engineers.
  • Manage organizational, cultural, and technical changes within the organization.
  • Develop and communicate a clear vision and direction aligned with the organization's goals.
Requirements
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of software engineering principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Strong software development background with a history of being an engineer and expertise in multiple mainstream technology stacks.
  • Expertise in software architecture and design of scalable, maintainable, and resilient systems that run on the cloud across regions.
  • Experience running and managing operations of business-critical systems on the cloud.
  • People management experience, including hiring, performance management, and growth.
  • Experience leading other leaders in a software engineering organization.
