In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our fleet of heavy-duty diesel garbage trucks. Our work encompasses a wide range of tasks, including hydraulics, electrical systems, preventative maintenance, and minor engine repairs. A significant portion of our fleet is still under warranty.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel garbage trucks.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
Qualifications:
  • Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or equivalent; strong apprentices will be considered.
  • 3-4 years of experience in truck and trailer repair.
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment tests.
  • Proven experience with drivability, hydraulics, and engines.
