Machinist Technician

RIMEX Supply is a leading custom manufacturer of off-road wheel and rim assemblies, serving industries such as mining, forestry, agriculture, and industrial equipment.

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our Saskatoon branch, where you will play a critical role in our continued growth and development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up machines and ensuring they are working at full capacity
• Determining and running the appropriate program for each job, making adjustments as needed to ensure quality product
• Loading and unloading machines with required products
• Checking and measuring parts
• Changing inserts when required
• Operating equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
• General clean up of working area to maintain a safe working environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ticketed machine operator or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a heavy metal manufacturing environment
• Experience in precision machining with tight tolerances
• Milling experience
• Experience using an overhead crane an asset
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
