About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Framing Carpenter to join our team at Sat Custom Homes Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the framing and installation of wood structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for framing and installation projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and ensure compliance with building codes
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials to create precise and durable structures
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless and professional finish
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Estimate costs and materials for framing and installation projects
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in framing and installation of wood structures
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
