Job Title: Junior Financial AnalystJob Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join its finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing transactions, conducting financial analysis, and collaborating with the Controller to ensure cash requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process transactions and conduct financial analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to review and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and other financial analysis and requests as needed.
  • Prepare short-term cash flow forecasts and highlight risks and opportunities.
  • Review and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Working towards (or have) CPA designation.
  • Experience in public accounting or accounting department of a multinational company.
  • Advanced skills with Excel (including macros) and familiarity with SAP or an account module within another ERP.
  • Strong business acumen, exceptional attention to detail, and accuracy.
  • Open to new ideas and processes and motivated to take on new challenges.
  • Collaborative approach and a great sense of fun.
  • Passion for food.
