As a Property Adjuster, you will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, gathering evidence, and analyzing claim details. Your expertise in property damage assessment and your ability to communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders will be essential to success in this position.
Responsibilities:- Investigate and assess property damage claims, including residential and commercial properties.
- Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and review documentation to determine the cause and extent of damage.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining your findings and recommendations for settlement.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and ensure fair and equitable outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the claims process.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including adjusters, underwriters, and legal counsel.
- University degree or post-secondary education in insurance or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Property Adjuster.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adjuster's license or currently pursuing CIP designation.
