Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Supervisor to join our team in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. As a key member of our electrical operations team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise in the commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems
  • Construct, install, alter, repair, and test all electrical power and control components, instruments, devices, and equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical power and control systems
  • Workaround energized power and control equipment
  • Determine the appropriate selection of materials, tools, and equipment and coordinate with management in support of procurement efforts
  • Ensure maintenance, quality, and test reports and documentation are completed and filed
  • Review and maintain understanding of all project-related drawings, scopes, and technical documentation
  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the daily activities of assigned crew(s)
  • Coach and mentor team members to support personal and team performance improvements
  • Perform quality field audit/inspection activities to meet internal and external KPIs
Requirements
  • Red Seal Interprovincial Electrician and/or Instrumentation & Controls Journeyperson certificate
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical and/or instrumentation commissioning
  • 5+ years of experience in supervision and possess strong leadership qualities
  • 5+ years of experience in an industrial setting
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
  • Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a clean abstract
  • Ability to work out-of-town and regular overnight travel
