Bar Support Specialist

Role Overview

The Bar Support Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar areas. Working closely with bartenders, this position involves maintaining an organized and well-stocked bar environment, preparing beverages, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Accurately restock liquor bottles, syrups, straws, napkins, ice, and other bar supplies according to daily requisitions.
  • Beverage Preparation: Assist bartenders with preparing cocktails, mocktails, and other beverages by measuring ingredients, mixing drinks, and garnishing as needed.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout service. This includes wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and removing trash.
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service to guests by answering questions, taking orders, and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Emergency Response: Assist in handling emergencies such as broken glass, spills, or clogged drains.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of cocktails and other beverages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Smart Serve Certification.
