In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across Canada. You will operate tractor-trailer units, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring its proper maintenance and functionality.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch regarding shipment status and any relevant updates.
  • Maintain accurate driver logbooks and inspection reports as required by regulations.
  • Adhere to all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience as a long haul truck driver.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles.
  • Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations.
