Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, and meal support.
- Collaborate with residents and the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans.
- Facilitate resident engagement in leisure activities.
- Support light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Perform delegated nursing tasks in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate important information regarding resident care to supervisors.
Qualifications
We are seeking individuals who value collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess:
- A valid diploma in Personal Support Work or equivalent training.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector screening.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Proficiency in English; French language skills are an asset.
- Experience in Alzheimer’s and Dementia care is preferred.
- Previous experience working with seniors in long-term care settings is advantageous.
- A passion for providing quality care and services to seniors.
