In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring that all necessary precautions are taken.
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by our dietitian or chef.
- Kitchen Management
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure that all food safety protocols are followed.
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we are operating within budget.
- Team Leadership
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Recruit and hire staff as needed to ensure that we have a well-trained and motivated team.
- Organize buffets and banquets to ensure that they are executed to perfection.
- Manage kitchen operations to ensure that we are meeting our customer's needs and exceeding their expectations.
