Job Summary

CNC CUSTOM MACHINING & FABRICATING INC. is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Set machine or equipment controls to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct work measurement or other studies to analyze and improve operational performance.
  • Develop and carry out health, safety and fire prevention plans to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collect and compile operational or experimental data to inform business decisions.
  • Collect and analyze data and samples to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand product specifications and manufacturing processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or operations role.
  • Computer and technology knowledge: Proficient in MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Windows.
  • Area of specialization: Development of quality assurance programs.
  • Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available.
  • Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
  • Personal suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, organized, team player, and values and ethics.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or operations role.
  • Other benefits: Parking available, permanent employment, and 37.5 hours per week.
