Job Summary:
Thermo King Eastern Canada is seeking a skilled Mechanic - Refrigeration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing components on truck and trailer refrigeration units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration units, including troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating components, and replacing worn or damaged parts
- Review shop orders and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues and improve overall team performance
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a mechanical or refrigeration-related field
- Strong understanding of refrigeration systems and components
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
