We are seeking a skilled Security Guard to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents. You will be required to write reports and investigate routine incidents, as well as respond to coded emergencies in a quick and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide security patrols and response to incidents
  • Write reports and investigate routine incidents
  • Respond to coded emergencies
  • Display excellent customer service skills
  • Work with people who are under stress or in need of medical assistance
Requirements
  • A Valid Ontario Security Guard License
  • Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C
  • Proficient in English (both oral and written)
  • Vulnerable Sector Check
  • COVID Double Vaccination
Training and Development

Successful completion of the following requirements provided by Paladin are mandatory prior to placement:

  • Management of Aggressive Behavior
  • Use of Force
  • Additional courses as assigned

Upon hire, successful applicants will be required to complete the following Paladin online courses:

  • Customer Service
  • Patrol Procedures
  • Diversity Awareness
  • Finding The OHS Manual
  • Paladin OHS Orientation
  • Dealing with People with Mental Illness
  • Workplace Respect
  • Slips, Trips and Falls
  • Additional courses as assigned
