About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NSWOC Nurse to join our team at CarePartners. As a NSWOC Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing wound and ostomy consultation services to patients in our clinics and community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide wound and ostomy consultation services to patients in our clinics and community
  • Use your expertise in wound and ostomy care to promote self-management by patients and lead the interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in wound and ostomy care
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN) diploma
  • Current College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) registration in good standing
  • Graduate of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC, formerly CAET), CNA exam may be pending
  • Several years of escalating experience managing wounds and ostomies
  • Strong desire and commitment to making a difference in the lives of our patients
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver's license and vehicle as regular travel is required
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • CPR Certification
  • Current immunization record including 2 step TB test
  • To protect our patients, we require a current vulnerable sector check and a clear background check
