POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven leader in quality and professional practice, focused on delivering exceptional clinical strategies through empowering teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong executive presence, facilitating collaboration across various departments within the organization.

The Senior Clinical Director will be instrumental in leading the Office of Quality, promoting cross-functional cooperation throughout all business lines and corporate departments.

Reporting to the Vice President of Senior Health and Chief Clinical Executive, this newly established role will oversee a team of Advanced Practice Leaders and prioritize initiatives such as patient safety, continuous quality enhancement, and the implementation of evidence-based practices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the Advanced Practice Leadership (APL) team in conjunction with the Senior Clinical Director of Professional Practice.
  • Overseeing clinical protocol development and implementation across various specialties, including gerontology and palliative care.
  • Enhancing organizational safety culture through comprehensive quality programs and incident reporting systems.
  • Building clinical leadership capacity in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborating with operations to ensure effective quality measurement and reporting.

The successful candidate will embody leadership qualities aligned with our values, emphasizing person-centered care, accountability, and innovation.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • A registered nurse leader with a current professional license in good standing is preferred, along with other regulated health professionals.
  • A Master's Degree in Health Sciences, Health Administration, or a related field, focusing on quality and patient safety.
  • A minimum of five to eight years of progressive leadership experience at a director level or above.
  • Extensive knowledge of clinical operations related to quality and patient safety.
  • Proven ability to lead in a national organization that champions clinical excellence.
